دهن العود الجديد هو زيت عود طازج يتم استخراجه حديثًا من خشب العود دون تعتيق طويل. يتميّز برائحة خشبية واضحة مع لمسة راتنجية منعشة مقارنة بالعود المعتّق الذي يكون أكثر نعومة وعمقًا.
يظهر الطابع العطري لهذا النوع بشكل أكثر حيوية، حيث تبدأ الرائحة بنغمة عود خشبية واضحة تميل أحيانًا إلى لمسة خفيفة من الدخان أو الحدة الطبيعية للعود الطازج، ثم تتطور تدريجيًا على البشرة لتكشف عن دفء خشبي غني.
